For some time past, it has often been remarked that since Moe was fortunate enough to have a fire brigade, consisting of very energetic members, there had been no fires in the town. However, the spell was broken on Wednesday afternoon, when the fire-bell, which had been silent since its erection, was rung on no fewer than two occasions.
