Methods for collecting and testing eucalypt seeds are described.

The information available on longevity of eucalypt seeds in storage is briefly reviewed and some further evidence on this subject is given.

Data indicating the number of viable seeds per capsule, per capsule cell, and per ounce of seed plus chaff of many Victorian species of Eucalyptus are presented.
